These notes are written as the project moves. They will stay short, and they will only say what we know.

Note 01 · The site

Beneath Mt Buller.

Anahita is being built at Merrijig, in the Delatite valley beneath Mt Buller and Mt Stirling. Approvals are under way.

Until they are through, we won’t publish opening details.

Note 02 · The architecture

A house, not a room.

The Pavilion is in design development. The current drawings describe a standalone house lined in timber veneer, with travertine underfoot and a round tub beneath a skylight.

The render here is an early artist’s impression. It will change as the design settles, and we will show the changes when they are real.

Starting with respect.

We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land on which Anahita will stand, and pay our respects to Elders past and present.

We are at the start of that relationship. We won’t use language, stories or images from Country without the Traditional Owners’ guidance and consent, and this note will change as we learn.
